I can't see MYTY Camera V2 in the camera device list.

Follow the steps below:

1. Close the video chat app/platform

2. Reboot MYTY Camera

3. On MYTY Camera, make sure the virtual camera mode is enabled. The icon must be red to be enabled

1. (macOS only) If the virtual camera mode is not enabled, refer to macOS (12.3 and later)

2. Open video chat applications in a Chromium web browser, such as Google Chrome and Brave Browser.

3. Go to the video chat Settings > Video > Camera Device or Video Input > Select MYTY Camera V2

I can't use the virtual camera in a non-Chromium web browser.

MYTY Camera's virtual camera is only supported on Chromium web browsers such as Google Chrome and Brave Browser.

I can't see my avatar if I use a background from a video call.

If you use a background filter on the video chat platform with MYTY Camera, the entire avatar will be covered.

Do not use the background filter feature in the video chat platform; use the Virtual Background function on MYTY Camera app.

The avatar is not tracking my face correctly.

Adjust your camera setting

• The distance between the camera and your face is too far

• Your face is not looking straight at the camera device

It consumes too much CPU.

MYTY Camera takes up a considerable amount of CPU resources due to face tracking with AI. Adjust app settings' video performance to optimize motion tracking quality in your system.

I can't use MYTY Camera on a lower macOS version than 12.3.

To provide the best user experience, MYTY Camera on macOS is supported on the OS version ≥ 12.3. Please update your macOS to 12.3 or a later version.

I can't use MYTY Camera v1.1.0 or later after updating.

This issue occurs only for Windows users who have updated MYTY Camera from the previous versions (before v1.1.0).

• Old name: MYTYCamera (no space)

• New name: MYTY Camera

How to resolve:

1. Open MYTY Camera

2. Remove the older version a. Remove folder C:\Program Files (x86)\MYTYCamera b. Remove every file with the name MYTYCamera
